Music Venue Alliance Nashville

Our close-knit organization of passionate and fiercely independent music venue owners and operators are committed to retaining and nurturing the fragile, yet complex ecosystem of every individual aspect of our famous music scene here in Nashville, TN. We seek to enlighten, educate and heighten awareness of what it means to be truly independent, and in this mission of advocacy and renewed appreciation, we hope to ensure many more decades of passion-fueled small business success and prosperity.

Music Health Alliance

Music Health Alliance’s mission is to #HealTheMusic by providing access to healthcare — including mental health — through services that protect, direct, and connect music industry professionals with medical and financial solutions.

National Independent Venue Foundation

Our mission is to preserve and nurture the ecosystem of independent live performance venues and promoters throughout the United States by supporting a transparent, competitive marketplace serving a diverse and inclusive community of artists, fans, and industry workers.

Nashville Musicians Association

The Nashville Musicians Association, AFM Local 257, was founded in 1902. Our mission is to promote respect for musicians, the work they do, and the intellectual property they create, in a constantly evolving business environment. We represent studio musicians, touring bands, symphonic musicians, vocalists, arrangers, composers, contractors, and more. We negotiate and administer contracts, track additional uses of songs recorded under AFM union contracts, and represent musicians in all genres of music from jazz to rock, pop, bluegrass, gospel, and yes, country music. Our members range from music icons such as Vince Gill and Taylor Swift, to young bands working their way up the ladder of success, and everything in between. Let us show you what we can do for you!

Musicares

MusiCares helps the humans behind music because music gives so much to the world. MusiCares provides a safety net of critical health and welfare services to the music community in three key areas:

Mental Health & Addiction Recovery Services: Support, referrals, and emergency financial assistance for counseling, psychiatric care, inpatient treatment, coaching, intensive outpatient care, sober living and more.

Health Services: Financial assistance during medical crises and preventive services such as dental and medical screenings, hearing clinics, vocal health workshops, and assistance obtaining low-cost health insurance.

Human Services: Support for basic living expenses like rent, utilities, car payments and insurance premiums in times of hardship, plus programs addressing affordable housing, career development, legal issues and senior services.

Music Neighbors

We advocate for the diversification and growth of Nashville’s music communities through our 501(c)(3) nonprofit's media programming which helps music artists feel valued and supported. Our services range from funding studio recording sessions to providing a platform for artists to discuss how they utilize music to self-heal and enrich our city’s culture.

Our ambition is to connect people to more Nashville music artists of all genres. We believe diversity in music is important, and work hard to create a safe and positive space for the community to discover new music. The platform we’ve created allows artists of any size or notoriety to fully express themselves in the way they envision.
